“In a world divided and conflicted within and without, inundated by worldly wisdom and individual truth; faith and the church is ultimately called to stand apart, by walking in unity in the 'Catholic' faith. So what does it mean to walk under the banner of the Christian Catholic church in our present time and age? Is the Christian faith identity one that we can still proclaim and be lived out completely through our understanding of the diversity of the church? Do we know ourselves and faith well enough to talk with seekers and inquirers of our Anglican faith expression? In this our retreat time, may our expression of our faith and calling, be one in Christ, one in life, and one in witness. May we also live out our 'Unity in Faith'.”
